A Perfect Summer Wedding

So many perfect little details in this feature of Victoria and James wedding, held with us last summer and photographed by the amazing Alexandra Jane.  From Victoria's gorgeous dress to the amazing simplicity of the flowers - which set off the 'banqueting lines' table layout in the barn beautifully- this wedding was full of the 'wow' factor and The Tythe Barn was the perfect backdrop.

Victoria had chosen to get ready in The Nook with her bridesmaids and you could sense the excitement building from the moment they arrived early that morning.  They soon made themselves at home and Victoria had kitted her girls out with pretty floral robes and slippers.  There was a lot of laughtet a little bit of sparkle and of course a hint of 'bubbles' !

Victoria and James had chosen banqueting lines in the barn.  This is such a stunning option and it looked incredible!

Simple flowers, a few wooden crates, metal churns, silver coloured plant holders, a dusting of lustre and fairy lights made for a winning combination.

In the gardens at the barn V and J had opted for our garden games, sweet cart and summer deckchairs.  The evening sun shone and the day could only have been described as truly magical!

The eye catching 'naked' cake, which is proving to be a popular choice for wedding cakes this year, looked beautiful on our rustic log cake stand...

As dusk fell the little votives that Victoria had asked us to hang from the London Plain trees looked fabulous and with old and young still enjoying either drinks and chat on the lawns or strutting their moves on the dancefloor - the party continued both indoors and out.  Photography credit - Alexandra Jane.  Flowers - Jemma at The Flower Shed Oxford.
