We were lucky enough to have the pleasure of hosting a fashion shoot with Paul Browse Photography and some fabulous wedding suppliers at The Tythe Barn last year. The sun was shining, the models looked beautiful and we had such a giggle - even our resident pooch, Reggie, managed to get in on the action!
Greens and whites were the order of the day, really accentuating that sunshine yellow and pale pink in the bouquets and headpieces, created by Penny Blossom. This natural style is great for rustic barn weddings as it feels so effortless. We loved the additional corsages – perhaps an idea for your bridesmaids or flower girls?
Photographed here with our landie (also available for hire) we really loved this pretty A-line wedding dress. Long sleeves have been particularly popular in recent styles, and these illusion sleeves do not disappoint. All dresses featured were supplied by Anna MacDonald.
As if predicting the 2018 colour of the year Penny Blossom got it spot on when she also created this stunning purple bouquet with feather accents. Are you a bit of a country girl?
We’re lucky enough to see so many different styles and trends here at The Tythe Barn, but we were yet to see one of these ring bouquets. If you’re looking for something a little less traditional, perhaps this unique idea will be perfect for you.
We knew we would have some fun and be in very good hands when Katie Jane Whitlock and Katie Burt agreed to do the hair and make-up for the shoot - (Katie W on hair and Katie B creating her magic with her palettes!) These two hugely talented artists do work seperately but if you are lucky enough to book them together then you're in for a treat!!
They even stepped in to model at the end of the afternoon....
So which style would you go for?
A big thank you to all the contributors to this shoot.
