September Sunshine for Sophie and Jonny

Each season has its own individual charm and the month of September is definitely one we love here at the barn. With so many benefits to getting married this month, and if you’re planning your own very special day and wanting some much-needed inspiration just take a few moments to soak up all the joy this wedding has to offer.

Sophie and Jonny married on a glorious day in early September. The sun was shining, the day was beautifully long and the guests really got to enjoy the late summer weather with drinks and speeches in our pretty manicured gardens. G&T anyone?

Appealing to those of you with an eye out for a September date (yes, we’ve got you’re back) there’s something for everyone here… a morning of laughter getting ready in The Nook, a glorious outdoor ceremony filled with plentiful wildlife for ‘animal-mad’ groom Jonny (organised by his beautiful bride-to-be may we add), the most incredible autumnal floral displays by Mary Jane Vaughan matched with the gorgeous statement-colour bridesmaids dresses from Zara brought all the glorious details together for this late summers day. And talking of details, let’s not forget the cutting of the spectacular ‘Cheese Cake’ outside by the wisteria-clad wedding aisle – a sight not to be missed – not just because of the oodles of cheese on offer but because they cut the cake outside – on a late September evening and we LOVE that!!!

The barn doors were wide open bringing the ‘outside-in’ for guests to enjoy during the wedding breakfast and with the sunsets so beautiful at this time of year, there were plenty of opportune spots for Sophie and Jonny’s photographs.

Grab your coffee (or something a little stronger) and revel in this smashing September wedding – you won’t be able to scroll past the exceptionally cute flower girls and page boy without stopping in your tracks – they are hands down the cutest guests at any wedding!
