The Main Barn

At the heart of our farm lies the impressive 14th Century, thatched-roof Main Barn. An integral part of our family farm for over 400 years, much of the original building still stands today. Over the years we’ve sympathetically restored the space with unrestrained love and dedication, bringing it into the modern day without losing an ounce of its historical charm.

Behind the enormous barn doors you’ll find Cotswold stone walls beneath a canopy of rustic oak beams, and enough space to seat up to 155 guests. A breath-taking backdrop for fun-filled celebrations, the barn can be completely transformed to suit your style.

The Nook

As the name suggests, The Nook is a secluded spot tucked away from the action. Cosy and comfortable, the space has the homely feel of a rural retreat with the specification of a high-end hotel, providing everything you need while prepping for your party.

The Cowshed & Hovel

Formerly an exposed area for animal feeding, The Cowshed has since been transformed into a welcoming space to gather with guests before or after your sit-down dinner.

Next door to The Cowshed lies The hovel. With panoramic windows and an indoor-outdoor vibe, the room is the ideal space to shelter from the sun during the summer season or to warm up in front of the wood-burning fire through the winter months.

The Shepherd's Hut

Hidden away across the yard and overlooking the Oxfordshire countryside, the Shepherd’s Hut is an idyllic spot for an overnight stay on the farm. Taking inspiration from the lambing shelters of years gone by, the hut has been designed using traditional materials of timber, copper and tin to create a cosy, romantic retreat for two.

Imaginatively designed to offer maximum comfort within minimal space, snuggle up and enjoy a sleepover under the stars, exclusively available for one night only.

The Church

For religious ceremonies, the beautiful 12th Century St Mary’s Church is located a short stroll away from The Tythe Barn. Following a service led by the charming Reverend Peter Wright, you and your guests will wander back through the grounds of the farm ready to begin your wedding celebrations.
