At Tythe, inclusivity isn’t a policy – it’s who we are. We don’t assume you want traditional roles, gendered preparation spaces, or conventional processionals. Instead, we listen to what you want and make it happen.
From your first enquiry, you’ll notice the difference. Our communication uses the language you’re comfortable with, respects your pronouns without you having to repeatedly correct us, and never makes assumptions about who’s wearing what or who’s doing what. Our entire team is briefed on your preferences, so you’re not constantly explaining yourselves.
We’ve hosted beautiful celebrations for couples across the LGBTQ+ spectrum – two grooms who both wanted dramatic entrances, two brides who got ready together, non-binary couples who reimagined every wedding convention and trans couples celebrating their authentic selves.

We’re a fully licensed wedding venue in Oxfordshire for all civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, working with experienced registrars who’ve conducted countless LGBTQ+ ceremonies. Whether you choose our barn with its soaring beams and fairy lights, or our gardens with countryside views, your ceremony space is exclusively yours.
Indoor ceremonies beneath our ancient oak beams create an intimate wedding atmosphere where every word is heard. Outdoor wedding ceremonies in our licensed gardens offer natural beauty and breathing space. Some couples choose symbolic ceremonies with chosen celebrants, adding legal formalities elsewhere – we’re flexible.

Our preparation spaces adapt to your needs completely. The Nook provides a light-filled sanctuary with ensuite facilities whilst The Lodge offers an additional preparation space adjacent to open fields. The Farmhouse has further getting ready options plus seven luxury ensuite bedrooms.

The Apple Loft is perfect, with space for hair and makeup plus that champagne bar for Dutch courage. Prefer separation for the surprise reveal? Choose from dedicated spaces at opposite ends of the estate!
